A family favorite event is back this weekend, as Days of Yore gets ready to take over Rosebud Park in Didsbury.
The 2-day event is an outdoor living history festival entertaining and educating the public to cultural traditions, lifestyles, and activities of bygone eras through authentic representations of those times.
Kathleen Windsor is Chair of the Days of Yore committee with the Mountain View Arts Society, she talks about some of this year’s highlights.
Days of Yore will also feature an expanded vendor market this year, with artisans from around Mountain View County and as far away as Nelson, BC.
Windsor says it’s the hard-working reenactors that make the event truly special.
Days of Yore will run from 11AM to 5PM on both Saturday and Sunday.
Group pass tickets for up to 4 people are $30, general admission for those 7 and up is $10 and kids 6 and under are free.
Tickets and more information, including an event schedule, can be found at Days of Yore dot ca.
