A Night For Abbey Benefit Concert

The Abbey's Goal memorial fund campaign has made its way to Alberta.

Lisa Lennox will be the headliner during a benefit concert this month at Tracks Pub.

It is called "A Night for Abbey" which will support the memorial fund created about one year ago.

Lennox says Abbey passed away at 9 and a half years of age from a rare immune system disease called Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).

According to Lennox, Abbey was an avid hockey player and her family created the Abbey's Goal campaign based in Toronto.

She says the local community has been very generous.

Lennox lives in Olds and is best friends with Abbey's mom.

The benefit concert features Lennox and 7 acts including local performers and A list bands on Friday, April 26th at Tracks Pub starting at 8PM.
