Airdrie Rural RCMP Seeking Assistance To Identify ATM Thief

The automated teller machine was stolen on Monday, January 7th from a gas station in Crossfield. Airdrie Rural RCMP say the suspect vehicle is described as a white Ford Econoline 15 passenger van.

Rocky View County, Alta – On January 7, 2019 at approximately 4:45am, Airdrie Rural RCMP responded to a commercial alarm at the Crossfield Shell in Crossfield.

Video surveillance shows a male suspect smashing the window of the front door and gaining access into the business. The suspect then tied tow ropes to the ATM, connected the other end to his van and drove away, causing significant damage to the interior and exterior of the gas station. The ATM was taken which contained an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect vehicle is described as a white Ford Econoline 15 passenger van.
