
Members of the Bergen/Sundre 4H clubs displayed a year's worth of hard work at the annual show & sale yesterday.
The 55th annual Bergen/Sundre 4-H Show & Sale was a huge success as members of all ages showed off their well-raised steers & heifers.
11 year old Cache McLerie is the youngest member of the Sundre 4H club.
He was the interclub junior showman of the show and had the supreme champion female .

His 14 year old sister Jill had the grand champion steer - a simmental/angus cross
weighing in at 1287 pounds.

McLerie's grand champion steer sold for $3.55 a pounnd to Sundre Soil - Sundre Soil has been supporting 4-H for 30 years.
The reserve champion steer, raised by Tessa Nybo of the Sundre 4-H Club, sold for $2.50 a pound to Mark Crouch. All the meat from that steer is being donated to the food bank.
