In the past year over $160 000 has been raised thanks to rider pledges and sponsors - $101 000 will be presented to the Cross Cancer Centre in Edmonton while $60 000 will go towards a prostate cancer awareness campaign in central Alberta.
The Rural Alberta Motorcycle Ride for Dad is just over a month away, and riders have been working hard to raise money for their fight against prostate cancer.
Dean Harper, Chair of the Rural Alberta Ride for Dad, says they will be presenting a cheque worth $101 000 to the Cross Cancer Centre in Edmonton.

Riders will take off on June 23rd with departure locations in Red Deer, Olds
and High River.
