This week's Carstairs council meeting was packed with residents as an updated proposal for a 51 lot subdivision was presented.
Trevor Marshall spoke at the meeting on behalf of the residents of Carstairs Links to ensure their concerns were heard and to hold the developer accountable throughout the process.
He says the Town of Carstairs has been helpful and has listened to their concerns.
Marshall says their concerns include architectural and landscape control,
dust and noise suppression and a high water table in the area.
Marshall says the town is in the process of resurfacing highfield drive, as residential and commercial lots are in what he calls a "disgusting condition".
The proposal includes 7 light industrial lots, an additional highway commercial lot and additional residential lots for future development.
There are currently 30 residential homes in Carstairs Links.
