Superintendent Kurt Sacher says enthusiasm is high across Chinook's Edge School Division ahead of the start of the new school calendar.
This year there were 42 participants in Chinook's Edge School Division's annual New Teacher Orientation program.
Superintendent Kurt Sacher says the intensive 3-day orientation and mentorship program is authored by Dr. Lissa Steele - CESD's Associate Superintendent of Learning Services.
He says the feedback they received from the new teachers this year shows that Chinook's Edge is on the right path with its orientation program.
Sacher discusses what the enrolment numbers are looking like for the new school year in CESD.
As Sacher explains, Chinook's Edge School Division continues to focus on four critically important goals as the new school year approaches.
He talks about how Chinook's Edge is approaching this fall's provincial budget announcement from the new United Conservative government.
Everyone with Chinook's Edge is very enthusiastic to start the school year and they look forward to seeing the students return on September 3rd, according to Sacher.
