Christine Moore Enters Race For UCP Nomination In Innisfail-Sylvan Lake

There is another United Conservative Party nominee for Innisfail-Sylvan Lake. Christine Moore - the current Division 6 councillor for Red Deer County - believes her municipal government experience will help her if she is successful in landing the UCP nomination.

A current councilor for Red Deer County is throwing her hat in the ring for the United Conservative Party Innisfail-Sylvan Lake nomination.
Christine Moore is the Division 6 councillor and says she was asked to run by many citizens.


Moore says rural crime prevention is at the top of her agenda. She lead a delegation of rural citizens to the legislature in November.
Along with a focus on rural crime prevention, education is also on Moore's agenda.
Red Deer County Division 6 is in the Poplar Ridge/Burnt Lake area.
Premier Notley has not announced when the byelection will be held for the Innisfail-Sylvan Lake riding.
Meanwhile, Penhold town councillor Mike Walsh, and Devin Dreeshen have also announced their intention to run for the United Conservative nomination in that constituency.
