Sundre residents will face a 6.35% increase in their municipal taxes this year.
The 2012 municipal tax rate bylaw was passed this week by Sundre town council.
According to Director of Corporate Services, Wanda Watson-Neufeld, residents will see an increase this year.
She says it will help the town cover the costs of several large projects.

Neufeld says the town of Sundre's Alberta Education Requisition came in about 9% higher than last year.
The town of Sundre's tax notices will be sent out in early May - taxes need to be paid by June 30th.
