Jeff Nielsen - the Chair of the Grain Growers of Canada (GGC) says farmers need really responsible Business Risk Management (BRM) programs and that is what they will be pushing for while in Quebec City this July.
The Ag Growth Coalition is trying to promote better business first management programs for producers, according to the Chair of the Grain Growers of Canada.
Jeff Nielsen - who farms near Olds - says he is going to Quebec City this month to attend meetings with the Federal-Provincial-Territorial (FPT) Agriculture Ministers.
Meantime when it comes to the weather this year, Nielsen notes that it has been very finicky.
Nielsen says Canada's AgGrowth Coalition and its members want to see a four-point plan implemented for immediate action on national Business Risk Management programs.
