Innisfail RCMP Respond To A Panic Alarm & Make Three Arrests

A 20 year old from Calgary is among three individuals who have been arrested and charged after Innisfail RCMP responded to a panic alarm at the Centex in Penhold, Albeta on Monday, January 13th.

Innisfail, Alberta ~ On Monday, January 13th Innisfail RCMP received a call for a panic alarm at the Centex in Penhold, Alberta.

Investigation revealed that 2 males came in the store and demanded cash. The males fled with undisclosed items in a dark coloured Honda Civic car. Some very alert citizens provided excellent detailed descriptions of the males and the suspect vehicle to police. RCMP responded quickly and with the assistance of Innisfail RCMP traffic services, Red Deer RCMP and Didsbury RCMP the suspect vehicle was located, stopped and three occupants were arrested without incident. RCMP investigation revealed that the car they were driving was also stolen.

Chgkouth Makuag (20 years) of Calgary Alberta has been charged with:

· Theft under $5000
· Possess stolen property under $5000
· Transport alcohol within reach of the driver

MAKUAG was released by the Justice of the Peace to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court January 29, 2020.

Two youths (15 years old) were also arrested and charged however their identity can not be released due to the fact that they are under the age of 18 and as such their identity is protected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
