This is Mental Health week and the Youth Empowerment Support (YES) program in Olds and Didsbury has been out in those communities sharing positive messages.
The Youth Empowerment Support (YES) program is saying let's "chalk" about it during Mental Health week.
According to Rae-Lynn Notley, all of the students from Ecole Deer Meadow School were out in the town of Olds on Thursday, May 9th.
The Program Manager for YES says they were using chalk to write and draw inspirational messages on the sidewalks uptowne, at the Fire Hall and at the Olds Hospital.
Notley adds, students were also out earlier this week in Didsbury as part of the Youth Empowerment Support program's "Let's Chalk About It" mental health initiative.
Mental Health week continues until this Sunday, May 12th.
