Mountain View County will be looking at options to find a long-term solution to washout issues on Range Road 52 near Water Valley.
The potential solutions will be brought back to a future council meeting.
Michael McLean, Director of Operational Services, says the roadway network also needs to be reviewed.
In the meantime, council has directed the Ops department to get RR 52 open
As McLean explains, right now the high water in the Little Red Deer River is going around behind the abutments, so they can't get in to do any work to the temporary bridge supports.
Council requested the temporary bridge be utilized to open the road within the confines of disaster services funding.
