Mountain View County's Policies & Priorities committee is recommending that council adopt a 'permanent publishing date for road bans each year'.
Permanent published road ban dates will be considered by Mountain View County.
At yesterday's Policies & Priorities meeting, the committee recommended that council implement annual road bans.
Michael McLean - Director of Operations - explains how the start and end dates were determined.
McLean says having permanent dates for road bans in the County will provide industry with the ability to plan activities for the summer.
Based on 5 year averages, the dates recommended to council for the permanent road bans are the 12th of March until the 5th of June.
