Brazilian-born journalist Filipe Leite has been staying at Main Attraction Stables as he prepares to ride 2 horses from Calgary to Brazil on an epic 16 000 km journey.
Filipe Leite is embarking on what he calls "one of the most epic journeys of the 21st century".
You may have seen Filipe riding his horses around the Olds area recently as he prepares for a 16000 km journey from Calgary to Brazil - aiming to connect and inspire people through positive story telling.
Leite says that promoting the well-being of his 2 horses will be one of the issues he'll focus on during the journey.

Leite is a journalist who was raised in Brazil and moved to Canada at a young age. He has been staying at Main Attraction Stables in Olds as he prepares his horses for the trek.
He will be filming a documentary throughout the entire trip and will write a book about his experiences.
Leite will be departing from the Calgary Stampede on July 8th and his first
stop will be High River.
