Mounties say the break-in at the Fortis industrial yard on 49th Avenue in Olds occurred on February 21st at about 3:30am. Police located stolen copper wire and a stolen licence plate in the suspect vehicle.
Charges have now been laid against two men following last month's break, enter and theft from the Fortis industrial yard in the town of Olds.
Olds RCMP say 39 year old Calvin Hawryluk of Calgary is charged with break and enter, as well as possession of stolen property. Hawryluk was released by a justice of the peace on a $3000 dollar no deposit recognizance with conditions to have no contact with his co-accused and is banned from Olds.
Olds RCMP say 43 year old Peter James Dawson of Calgary is charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest/flight from police - plus having an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle on the highway. Dawson was brought before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody.
Both men are slated to appear in Didsbury Provincial Court on Monday, March 4th.
