Political Candidates Forum Held At TransCanada Theatre

A political candidates forum for the Red Deer-Mountain View riding was well attended on Wednesday, October 9th at the TransCanada Theatre in Olds.

Over 150 potential voters attended a federal election forum in the town of Olds on Wednesday, October 9th.

Olds College President Stuart Cullum served as the moderator for the evening at the TransCanada Theatre.

The forum was hosted by the Olds & District Chamber of Commerce along with the Didsbury & District Chamber of Commerce.

Cullum says a wide range of topics were covered by the candidates running in the Red Deer-Mountain View constituency.

The political forum in Olds included 4 of the 5 candidates vying for the local Member of Parliament job - incumbent Earl Dreeshen with the Conservative Party of Canada, Conner Borlé with the Green Party, Paul Mitchell with the People’s Party of Canada, as well as Logan Garbanewski with the NDP.

Liberal candidate Gary Tremblay was absent.
