Mountain View County council has heard a presentation regarding the development of the Rosebud Business Park. It is located in the northeast corner of Didsbury overpass at the intersection of Highway 2 and Highway 582. A delegation from Magna Engineering Services made a presentation to develop the Rosebud Business Park during the Policies & Priorities committee meeting on Wednesday, January 3rd.

A proposed highway commercial project was presented to Mountain View County Council during a recent Policies & Priorities committee meeting.

A delegation from Magna Engineering Services had a presentation to develop the Rosebud Business Park - which is located in the northeast corner of the Didsbury overpass at the intersection of Highway 2 and Highway 582.

Reeve Bruce Beattie says this is a process where any individual or developer can apply to develop an area structure plan if they have an idea.

He adds over time, they have to continue to find ways to diversify Mountain View County's tax base.

Beattie says the next step for Magna Engineering Services is to go back to start the area structure plan process and to notify local residents to begin the process of consultation.

He adds the Rosebud Business Park is a quarter section with large lots.
