Sundre RCMP - Missing Male Located Deceased

Sundre RCMP say searchers located the body of 61 year old Terrance Kereluke from Regina, Saskatchewan in the water near the shore of the Red Deer River on Wednesday, September 11th.

Clearwater County, Alberta ~ Sundre RCMP have located a missing male from Mountain Aire Lodge in Clearwater County deceased.

According to Mounties, on Wednesday, September 11th at about 2PM searchers located the body of 61 year old Terrance Kereluke from Regina, Saskatchewan in the water near the shore of the Red Deer River.

The exact cause of death at this time has yet to be determined and Sundre RCMP are working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The matter remains under investigation but is not criminal in nature.

Police say on the afternoon of September 7th they responded to a report of a missing male. He was last seen the same day going for a walk.

Sundre RCMP would like express appreciation to the many volunteers from Sundre, Didsbury, and Rocky Mountain House Search and Rescue groups, Sundre Fire Department, Clearwater Fire Services, and also to Ahlstrom Air Ltd. for the use of their helicopter.

Sundre, Alta. - On the afternoon of Saturday, September 7th Sundre RCMP responded to a report of a missing male from the Mountain Aire Lodge in Clearwater County.

Terrance Kereluke of Regina, Saskatchewan was last seen at the facility going out for a walk alone at approximately 9:00am.

Facility staff members searched the surrounding area without locating him. A follow-up search was conducted by Sundre RCMP members with the assistance of Police Dog Services and was unsuccessful.

Sundre RCMP continued search efforts on the morning of September 8, 2019, with the assistance of Search and Rescue, a search helicopter crew, and Fire Services of Sundre and Clearwater County.

61 year old Terrance Kereluke is described as:
· Caucasian
· 6’
· medium length grey hair
· brown eyes
· blue jeans
· black and white hooded sweater

Police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify anyone who may have seen Kereluke or picked up an apparent hitchhiker matching Kereluke’s description in the area of Mountain Aire Lodge or the Forestry Trunk Road after 9:00am on September 7th.
