Three Hills RCMP Execute Search Warrant And Charge Male With Multiple Offences

A 57 year old male from Kneehill County faces charges after a search warrant was executed at a residence just north of Trochu by Three Hills RCMP.

Three Hills, Alta. – On Jan. 3, 2019, Three Hills RCMP along with RCMP Emergency Response Team, and the Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit, conducted a search warrant on a residence just north of Trochu.

57 year old Alfred Legacy of Kneehill County has been charged with:

· Obstruction
· Fail to comply with Undertaking
· Occupant of a motor vehicle with a firearm
· Transporting a firearm carelessly
· Carrying a concealed weapon
· Possession of stolen property under $5000
· Flight from police
· Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (X2)

He was released from custody on his own recognizance, and will be appearing in Drumheller Provincial Court on Jan. 25, 2019

Police seized a large amount of electronics and oilfield property that was located at the residence and are still attempting to identify the owners of those items.
