Mayor Rhonda Hunter's summer notes for residents of the town of Didsbury includes news about an exciting announcement from Buy-Low Foods as well as a new 4-way stop to watch for at the corner of 16th Street and 22nd Avenue.
The Town of Didsbury continues to work on projects throughout the summer.
Residents can expect a new 4-way stop and playground zone at the corner of 16th street and 22nd avenue.
Mayor Rhonda Hunter says this is a high-traffic area for vehicles and pedestrians.
Mayor Hunter adds residents have also sent letters of concern to the town of Didsbury about the busy area with Memorial Park, the dog park and the town's commercial area.
Meanwhile, there will be a new grocery store in the Town of Didsbury.
According to Mayor Hunter, the hope is to get the shovels in the ground this year at Shantz Crossing.
She adds, the owners of the Shantz Crossing development are committed to the community and any future developments in town.
