The job posting for the Chief Administrative Officer position with the town of Didsbury closes on Friday, October 4th.
The town of Didsbury continues the search for a new Chief Administrative Officer.
Former CAO Harold Northcott gave his notice over the summer that he would be taking a similar position with the County of Vermilion River.
In the meantime, the town's interim CAO is someone who has plenty of experience working with municipalities in this area - Tony Martens.
Martens is the former CAO of Mountain View County and Mayor Rhonda Hunter says he retired in early 2018.
Mayor Hunter says the town has a committee in place that will be shortlisting the applicants, and from there begin the interview process.
She adds, the town received about 28 applications. The Didsbury CAO job posting closes on Friday, October 4th.
Meantime, Didsbury council is looking ahead to budget 2020.
Mayor Hunter encourages residents to fill out the budget survey and share how they would like to see the town's money spent.
The budget survey is available online at www.didsbury.ca.
