Pete Knight Days brought the Foothills Cowboy Association to Crossfield last weekend.
Unofficial winners from the FCA rodeo included Garrett Berreth from Rocky View County in tie down roping (10.8 seconds), the duo of Kellan Statham from Cranbrook B.C. and Rylin Scheller from Claresholm in team roping (8.8 seconds), Everett Fairlie from Lethbridge in steer wrestling (7.3 seconds), Alexander Means from Australia in saddle bronc (79 points), Jade Nelson from High River in ladies breakaway roping (3.23 seconds), and Barb Maynes from Olds in ladies barrel racing (15.795 seconds). There were no qualified rides in bull riding or in bareback.
Other unofficial winners from June 9th and 10th at Pete Knight Days included Brooke Anderson from Okotoks in pee wee barrel racing (16.735 seconds), Sloan Walker from Carstairs in junior steer riding (74 points), Kayl Hankins in junior breakaway (4.770 seconds), and George Hale from Bassano in junior barrel racing (16.043 seconds).
There was a tie for top spot in novice horse riding between Clay Greenslade from Rocky View County, and Denton Skjonsberg from Bluffton (74 points).
The Foothills Cowboy Association will come to Mountain View County for the Dogpound Stampede on July 19th.
