Westview Co-op - Another Successful Cram The Cruiser Fundraiser For The Mountain View Food Bank

Donations for the Mountain View Food Bank were collected on Saturday, January 18th at the Westview Co-op food store in Carstairs. An RCMP Cruiser was Crammed plus the back of a Co-op SUV. When you combine the Carstairs totals with the Cram the Cruiser results from Olds on January 11th, over 5380 pounds of food has been gathered up for the Mountain View Food Bank this month thanks to the Westview Co-op, local RCMP and the generous donations from members of the community.

The Westview Co-op and local RCMP have held another successful Cram the Cruiser fundraiser for the Mountain View Food Bank.

Doug Berggren and his wife Donna are the Carstairs Directors of the food bank. He says right now the need is very high.

On Saturday, the Westview Co-op food store in Carstairs and local RCMP combined to collect the generous donations from the community of 2680 pounds of food and $558 dollars cash. Berggren says those are amazing amounts for a small town like Carstairs.

A similar Cram the Cruiser event in Olds gathered up over 27-hundred pounds of food on January 11th.
