Wild Rose Humane Society Recruiting Board Members Ahead Of Annual General Meeting

Since the Wildrose Humane Society opened in June of 2018, 37 cats have been adopted. Volunteer Vice President Corina Cooke says they have 8 cats in care right now, with 5 of them in a foster to adopt program.

The Wildrose Humane Society in Didsbury is searching for new board members.

Volunteer Vice President Corina Cooke says they are looking to fill 4 vacancies.

She notes that board members are required to sit for a 2 year term.

According to Cooke, they will also have dogs at the shelter by Christmas or shortly thereafter. She adds, the kennels will be done by the end of October.

The Wildrose Humane AGM is on Thursday, September 19th at 6pm at the shelter.
