The Agricultural Youth Engagement Foundation is holding a conference in Olds next month. It is geared towards youth who are passionate about the industry and want to learn more.
A conference is being held in Olds next month is geared towards the youth who will be shaping the future of agriculture.
The event is being put on by the Agricultural Youth Engagement Foundation and is focused on interested youth between the ages of 12-21.
Board Chair Ellen Hondl talks about what will be included at the conference.
She says youth have always been her passion and getting young people involved with agriculture is key to moving the industry forward.
Hondl adds the theme for this year's conference will be beef, but the information learned throughout the day can be applied to any industry.
The conference will be held at Olds College on June 23rd from 9-5. It costs $15 to attend, and that includes a pizza lunch, jacket, swag bag and much more. The deadline to register is June 5th.
