The All Pro Canadian Chuckwagon Races are in Sundre this weekend (July 30, 31 & August 1). The Calgary Flames Ambassadors are proud to sponsor Dale Young - in his race for the championship.

96.5 CKfm is partnering with the Calgary Flames Ambassadors to raise money for Minor hockey in Olds and Sundre - by auctioning off a Flames Jersey autographed by Damon Lankow - a Flames hockey stick and a pair of tickets to a Calgary Flames pre season game.

Make your bids on 96.5 CKfm - starting Friday - by calling 403-556-2628. Bidding will end on Sunday August 8th, following the Olds Western Classic Chuckwagon races.

Join Tom Roulston in Sundre on Friday July 30th to make a bid on the Flames prize pack. We'll also have a draw for Calgary Flames goodies, while Tom is at the Sundre Chuckwagon races on Friday. Racing begins at 6 pm. Galen Hartviksen will call the races live - all weekend on CKfm. Friday and Saturday at 6 pm and Sunday at 1:30.

Congratulations to Bobbie Keding from Didsbury, the winner of our 2010 Star Search! Bobbie receives a CD recording from MuzikHaus in Three Hills, and we'll spin her tune on 96.5 CKfm.

Bobbie joins previous Star Search winners, Cal Werezak, Cole Malone, Amanda Sweet, and Ryan Sande.

Runners up were Greg Chalmers from Bergen, and Dani-Lynn Trentham from Olds.
