This month, Tim Hortons is bringing back its Special Olympics donut.
Chairperson Karen Mengersen with Special Olympics Olds & District says one hundred per cent of the proceeds from the sale of this donut from February 3rd through the 5th will go to Special O Canada.
She says their local athletes are back in the swing of things participating in recent events and there are some big events coming up in the near future as well.
Special Olympics Olds & District will have athletes and volunteers this coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at various times at the two Tim Hortons locations in Olds, as well as the ones in Sundre, Didsbury, Innisfail, and Bowden.
People can also share a photo of themselves enjoying the Special Olympics donut to social media by using the hashtag #ChooseToInclude and tagging @SpecialOCanada, @SpecialOAlberta and @TimHortons. By doing so, they will be entered into a contest to win a Tim Hortons card.
