Town of Olds - Canada Day Fireworks Postponed Until Friday, July 3rd At 11pm
Town of Olds staff will direct vehicles to park in designated locations at the Rotary Athletic Park of Olds to view the fireworks on Friday, July 3rd at 11pm. People must remain in their vehicles and there are no bathroms available on site. The fireworks had originally been planned for Tuesday, June 30th but rain forced them to be moved to Friday instead.

Red Deer RCMP Respond To Shooting At Parkland Mall - Update #2
The suspects remain at large following a shooting at Parkland Mall on Monday, June 29th. Red Deer RCMP say the vehicle connected to the shooting was located in Calgary and was seized by Calgary Police Service. Police say the shooting appears to be targeted and was not random. One male was injured and was transported to hospital.
