A Mentorship Program is being developed by the Didsbury & District Chamber of Commerce.
The Didsbury & District Chamber of Commerce is developing a Mentorship Program and will be applying for funding through the CARES grant offered by the government of Alberta.
It is a matching grant and Didsbury Chamber President Brian Chita explains more about the mentorship program.
Chita says interested businesses can stop by the Chamber Office in Didsbury by November 18th.
The Chamber is applying for the grant before a December 2nd deadline.
He notes that CARES stands for the Community And Regional Economic Support Program.
A good foundational start is critical when starting and running a business, according to Chita.
Meantime, Chita notes that coming up on Thursday, November 14th at 1:30pm is the ground breaking ceremony to formally kick off construction of the new Buy-Low Foods Grocery Store at 900 Shantz Drive in the town of Didsbury.
Special guests are expected to include Mayor Rhonda Hunter and Didsbury councillors, plus Dan Bregg the President of Buy-Low Foods.
