A graduate of Ecole H.J. Cody High School in Sylvan Lake has been inspiring Albertans during the COVID-19 pandemic. Chinook's Edge School Division Superintendent Kurt Sacher says the board of trustees is very proud of the work being done by Alberta's Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw. Meantime, Sacher says Chinook's Edge School Division couldn't be more proud of how staff and parents have come together in their communities to help learning move forward in difficult times.

Superintendent Kurt Sacher says Chinook's Edge School Division really appreciates how Dr. Deena Hinshaw has moved the province forward during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Sacher says their Chinook's Edge staff has really stepped up during the COVID-19 crisis to move a very large and complex school division from a traditional model to a distance learning approach.
