For Mountain View County Council and Administration, the safety and health of our office and field workforce is of paramount importance as is the health and safety of our residents. The County is adhering to standards and parameters announced by Alberta Health Services regarding social distancing, proactive hygiene practices and assembly of people.
Mountain View County will continue to review its business practices on an ongoing basis as the situation evolves and the mandates handed down by provincial authorities are incorporated.
Some of the measures announced by the Provincial Government, including closure of schools, isolation periods for potential exposures, etc., could have ongoing repercussions on County staffing levels.
While the County’s business continuity plan calls for continuation of core services to our public; service levels, projects and other programs could be re-evaluated during this increasingly fluid situation. County and other partner information will be posted to www.mountainviewcounty.com/content/covid-19-updates, along with our social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Residents are also encouraged to review information provided by our Urban Partners relative to specific closures on Recreation and Culture facilities and other event and activity postponements which may affect your plans.
