Olds RCMP Respond To Shooting In Mountain View County, Olds Man Injured

Mounties responded to a shooting in Mountain View County on Friday, March 20th. According to police, a 47 year old male from Olds was injured in the incident.

Olds, Alberta ~ On Friday, March 20th at approximately 2pm, Olds RCMP received a complaint of a shooting that occurred near Township Road 320 and Range Road 290 in Mountain View County, Alberta.

A 47 year old male from Olds suffered a firearms related injury as a result of this incident and was air lifted by STARS air ambulance to hospital with unknown injuries.

Olds RCMP are actively investigating this recent event and are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect vehicle that may have three occupants: two males and a female.

The suspect vehicle is described as:

• Older model Infinity SUV

• Gold

• Individual lights on the roof

The public are advised not to approach the suspect vehicle as the occupants are believed to be armed and dangerous.
