Town of Innisfail - Seniors' Week June 1-7

Karen Bradbury, Community and Social Development Coordinator, says the town of Innisfail has partnered with four local businesses where seniors can go thru the drive thru to receive a free treat. Albertans are encouraged to show their appreciation for the province's seniors and all they contribute to our communities during Seniors' Week, which runs from Monday, June 1st through Sunday, June 7th.

The town of Innisfail has found a way to recognize its seniors, while observing physical distancing measures during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Karen Bradbury, Community and Social Development Coordinator, says in past years they have held a Mayor and Seniors Garden Party during Seniors' Week.

She explains what they will be doing this year between today and Thursday.

Innisfail seniors can go to Tim Hortons today (June 1st) for a free medium coffee or tea, according to Bradbury.

Tomorrow they can get a free Buddy Burger at A&W.

Wednesday's free treat is a small ice cream cone at Dairy Queen.

On Thursday, Innisfail seniors can pick up a free cinnamon bun at Coffee Cottage.
